ULU is a London-based boutique label, founded by Robin Michelangelo aka Robin M and his manager Methe Buhl. The label began as a space for Robin to release his own music without rules, along with other selected but talented artists' with the care, vision and passion built from experience.
ULU is dedicated to release high quality underground house music with global influences. We dont chase trends and our releases blend melodic and deep textures with groove driven rhythms inspired by cultures from every corner of the globe, including of course our home town, London.
In a short space of time ULU have released records which are certified platinum, topped Beatport and Traxsource charts and received support from leading radio stations such as BBC Radio 1 and 1xtra - as well as by global taste making DJ's including; Black Coffee, Bedouin, Pete Tong, Diplo, Keinemusik, Ry X, Desiree, Shimza, Dennis Cruz among many more.
2024 saw the launch of the ULU event series, which to date has taken place in cities such as London, Amsterdam, Nairobi and Copenhagen. Providing a range of events from small intimate Secret Sessions to ticketed club events. At ULU events you will experience curated line ups by Robin; all talent from the label or our wider music family. You will meet an amazing music loving community who is open minded and welcoming.
Inspired by the Hawaiian word "ULU" meaning growth and increase while also being a super fruit, ULU is committed to quality music and artists while continuously pushing forward. Bold, brave and driven to create memorable moments, this is ULU.
